I am a fan of the manga/anime "Haikyuu!", every episode is inspiring and it really pushes you to root for its characters. Most animes have this moment where the character achieves something they've been working extremely hard towards and there's a 15 second scene where everything is in slow motion and you get flashbacks of all the moments where they've struggled and you take it all in. I think that 15 seconds is what we all want. That feeling of winning, conquering your demons and flying is unbeatable. Haikyu does those moments insanely well, each time it happens, you're on the edge of the seat seeing the protagonist fly literally and metaphorically towards everything they've wanted since day 1. You see yourself as the protagonist.
The best part about inspiration is it forces you to take action but the worst part is you cannot rely on it to take action. The best work happens when you're consistent and you keep trying something, it doesn't mean you use the same methods or are repetitive necessarily, it means that you show up everyday to complete that goal. I wish for the 15 seconds in any task I take up, and when that is complete, you move on the next objective.
I am not going to say scared but I am wary about how much inspiration we need in the future for our work. Everything is becoming so accessible and easy to create, this probably will have some sort of effect where everyone has some level of common ideas. The solution to this is to think deeply and be creative and I think inspiration is really the key to creativity. You need to mash two very different ideas for one application and that can happen only with inspiration.
